The SublimeVideo player is very promising and so far i have had success using it.
One of the best parts about the player is not only that it has mobile support, but it will automatically fallback and play the video back with Flash if the viewer does not have a HTML5 compatible browser. So no matter what, my viewers can see my video.
I am using the wordpress plugin created by kahless to embed in this post. The first time i used the SublimeVideo player i just posted a simple web page. It seemed to work well, but we will see how well the plugin works. I like the simplicity of using just an embed code to get a video in the post.
If it’s successful i might start switching my videos completely over to the SublimeVideo player.
Right now the player is only available if you are part of the beta program, but you can sign up for it right over at their website. http://sublimevideo.net/
Update: The sublime video plug-in has now come out of beta and is live. I have decided not to purchase a package and use a new html5 video option for my site. It is not that the Sublime player is bad, far from it, it is fantastic. I just do not receive enough views to the videos on my site to make it worth the investment cost. For a commercial site, I would not hessitate to recommend using the sublime video player.
For me now, I am moving on to try the open source Video JS video player. I will let you know how it works out after I have made the switch and giving it some use.
the video embed for this post is now being run with the VideoJS video player.
